Routing Protocols In Network Simulation
Overview of Networks Simulation
Wireless Network
It is a type of network that is not connected by cables and has ability to
transmit and receive data or packets. Wireless network avoids the costly process
of introducing cables into a building, or as a connection between various
equipment locations. Wireless telecommunications networks are generally
implemented and administered using a transmission system called radio waves.
Routing Protocols implementation on NS2 (Network Simulator 2)
Qualitat system promises effective ways to design experiment and implement a
variety of routing protocols using Network Simulator 2 tool (NS2).
1. Ad-hoc Routing Protocols
- AODV (Ad-hoc On Demand Distance Vector Routing)
- DSR (Dynamic Source Routing)
- DSDV (Destination Sequenced Distance Vector Routing)
- TORA (Temporarily Ordered Routing Algorithm)
- ZRP (Zone Routing Protocol)
2. Routing Protocols for Wireless Sensor Network
- CBRP (Cluster Based Routing Protocol)
- LEACH (Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy) Protocol
- Residual Energy Based Routing Protocol
